Does eFitnessMD ask for personal information? Yes, we do. eFitnessMD asks for your name, email address and other personal information such as your age, height and weight when you enroll into our program.

How Does eFitnessMD use my personal information? eFitnessMD's goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the user, with the most personalized diet and nutrition information and support possible. Without the information, eFitnessMD could not make personalized recommendations for a healthy weight or nutrient intake.

Will eFitnessMD disclose any of my personal information? Your data will reside securely on our server and will be kept strictly confidential. eFitnessMD will not disclose any of your personal information, except as described below, or when we  believe, in good faith, that the law requires it, or to protect the rights or property of eFitnessMD. eFitnessMD does disclose aggregated user statistics (for example, 60% of our users are female) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, centers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Data may be used anonymously for statistical analyses, for purposes such as improving our service to the eFitnessMD community or clinical research. Again, this information will be guarded in the strictest confidence. eFitnessMD will not disclose any personal information to a third party without your prior consent.

What else should I know about my privacy? Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on-line - for example on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information on-line that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. In addition, eFitnessMD partners and third-party Internet sites and services accessible through eFitnessMD, have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of us. eFitnessMD has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're on-line.
